Watercolor by Sylvia Judkins
Sylvia's approach to a painting allows her to go beyond what is visible in a subject, to translate it into a vision that is in harmony with her feelings. Judkins feels that a good design and right mood are inextricably linked.
Sylvia studied at Pratt Institute N.Y. with Franz Kline, further study at the National Academy of Design, The School of Visual Art and The China Institute N.Y.
She also studied with Ed Whitney, Barse Miller, Mario Cooper and Carl Molno, Sylvia has won numerous first prizes and two gold medals.
Judkins is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society; she was listed in who is who in the American Art and Women's Artist.
Sylvia was published in Watercolor Magic and had one woman show at the Coral Springs Museum of Art.
