“Nature: Impressions of the Soul” Series
Wang is exhibiting a variety of her impressionistic and stylized nature mixed media paintings in the series, “Nature: Impressions of the Soul”. These paintings examine the connection between Nature and Soul. Her purpose is to convey her impressions of nature through intense colors. These intense colors are her visual language allowing her to express emotions that connect nature with the spiritual force of the soul.
"The soul immersed in the splendors of colors and nature feeds me peace and bliss. If the soul of humankind is the same, then I hope we all can find ourselves in the same profound state of joy and enlightenment," says Wang.
Wang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. She arrived in the United States in 1964. She graduated from the School of Design at the North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design Degree.
