Born in 1966, Marty Matthews' art has a flair for capturing today's issues in his mixed media collage. His abstract paintings, and prints capture movement and portray images in a surreal way. Using found objects from all walks of life, his creations leave much to think about.
Marty Matthews graduated with a degree in commercial art and advertising design. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo and groups shows in North Carolina. Marty has won art awards since 1994, including first place at the NC State Fair and other Arts Association art competitions. |
