Lauri began her professional art career in the mid 80's. Working on the
first Apple Macintosh computer ever offered to the public, her talents quickly evolved into a keen design spirit.
Lauri takes her years as a graphic designer/illustrator and combines those with her love for fine art. Her large hand-built canvases that were once dripping in oils now evoke tranquility through bold expressions of color or lack thereof.
Like a writer who adores the words, Lauri is an artist who is captured by the color.

Life, in and of itself presents many challenges, rewards, and
experiences. As an artist, I become one with my paintings while escaping
to a more tranquil world if only just for a moment.
